Cici Louie
 

Cici Louie has many years of teaching/coaching and playing experience to her credit. As a top ranked junior, she is the holder of numerous local, State, Pacific Coast, and National Championship titles. Along with her sisters, Marcie (former #5 in the US and world #10) and Peanut (former world #19) on the Women’s Tennis Association’s professional tennis tour), the Louie Family has amassed 29 National Junior titles.

Cici and her sister Marisa (who is the Assistant Tennis Director at Bay Club Redwood Shores), played on the All-City Championship Washington High (SF) boys’ varsity team. Cici was also runner-up in the Boys’ All-City Singles Championships. At the University of San Francisco, she played #1 singles & #1 doubles (with Marisa), and was the captain and MVP. She is also the holder of several Chinese National Women’s Singles & Doubles and Mixed Doubles Championship titles.

 

Cici and her three sisters were inducted into the Chinese Historical Society of America as outstanding athletes whose achievements are an inspiration to Chinese America. Her brother Ron, is also a teaching pro in Northern California.

 

Cici taught at the Sunny Hills Racquet Club for 3 years. She coached the Sunny Hills HS girls’ team to 4 consecutive league titles with a perfect 40-0 won-lost record. Cici coached the women’s team at Fullerton College before taking on the head coaching duties at Occidental College for 4 years, with the team reaching a high of #8 in the West Region and #30 in the Nation. From 1991 through 2010, she was the director/coach of the Sunny Hills High Summer Tennis Program for boys and girls. The past several seasons, Cici has worked with league champions Troy High boys&girls tennis teams. Cici is also a member of the Head/Penn Advisory Staff.

 

Cici’s experience as a top competitor and her years of teaching/coaching has given her invaluable insight into the game. She can take your game to the next level through professional instruction, strategy, and mental preparation. After many years of teaching/coaching in Southern Cal, she has relocated back to the Bay Area. 


Currently, Cici teaches at the Bay Club (Redwood Shores) as well as Foster City/San Mateo/Peninsula areas and Redwood City Elks Lodge (Emerald Hills).
